Property and Uses
HEDP•Na4 is the sodium salt of HEDP and an excellent inhibitor of calcium carbonate scale. HEDP•Na4 is mainly used for low-pressure boiler water treatment, circulating water treatment, industrial municipal cleaning water, and metal corrosion inhibitors for swimming pool sterilization.
HEDP•Na4 is a white powder solid, easily soluble in water, non-absorbent, easy to transport, and suitable for use in severe cold conditions.
HEDP•Na4 belongs to the organophosphonate class of corrosion inhibitors and can form stable complexes with various metal ions such as iron, copper, and zinc, and can dissolve metal oxides. It still provides good corrosion and scale prevention at 250°C.
HEDP•Na4 is widely used in industrial circulation cooling water in power, chemical, metallurgy, fertilizer, and other industries, as well as in low-pressure boilers, oilfield water injection, and scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition in oil pipelines.
In light industry, HEDP•Na4 can be used as a cleaning agent for metals and non-metals, an oxide stabilizer and fixative for the dyeing industry, a non-electroplating complexing agent, and an additive for daily chemicals.

Packaging and storage
HEDP•Na4 liquid is packaged in barrels, each with 30kg or 250kg, and HEDP•Na4 solids are packaged in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene, with a net weight of 25kg per bag, which can also be determined according to user requirements. Store in a cool, shaded indoor area with a shelf life of twelve months.
Safety protection
HEDP•Na4 is alkaline. Pay attention to labor protection during operation, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water after contact.
